Who can enrol in SEN
All newcomers who have been living in Canada for less than five years can sign up for SEN. This includes citizens, refugees or permanent residents. Anyone who has received an invitation for permanent residency or citizenship but has not yet arrived in Canada can enrol as well. You must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to study and work in Canada.
We recommend you have
- Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of at least 6+
- minimum high school education or equivalent
- access to a computer and reliable internet
- some relevant work experience, in any industry, either international or Canadian
- basic digital skills. You will need to navigate new digital environments, such as the Learning Management System.
Micro-credentials
There are three courses in this program. When you complete each course, you receive a micro-credential. The three micro-credentials you can earn are:
- Collaboration
- Communication
- Adaptability
What to expect
The SEN program is scheduled to start in September.
The courses are delivered online, and you can work at your own pace.
Each micro-credential is 20 hours.
You will have access to an instructor who can guide you through the course.
